  1. Welcome to dim, the dial-in monitor.
  2.  
  3. In order to use dim, you should have a Hayes compatible modem.
  4. I assume that getty_ps-2.07b (or later) is your current getty program.
  5. If not, you must either install getty_ps, or figure out appropriate
  6. changes yourself for the getty you're using.
  7.  
  8. The included build-script is based on icmake. Icmake binaries are 
  9. distributed with this package, they are in the bin subdirectory.
  10.  
  11. The build script is plain ascii-text, and contains useful information
  12. if you either already have icmake, or want to use icmake for other
  13. purposes as well.
  14.  
  15. The installation procedure of dim is described in the file
  16. INSTALL, in this directory.
  17.
